Christine Herbert

Vice President

Chris Herbert brings to Good Company Associates a diverse background in business management, customer service, public education and legislative action. As Vice President, she provides coordination between the company's many clients and Program Managers, as well as providing project management services on special projects.

Herbert has recently organized a Local Government Initiative, which will coordinate program direction and support to several of the largest cities and counties of Texas.  This cooperative group will promote and participate in resource efficiency projects that will reduce consumption and reduce air emissions in the state.

Herbert has provided direct services to our clients engaged in residential and small commercial-related energy efficiency services. She worked with the Texas Railroad Commission, completing market analysis studies under grants from the Propane Education and Research Council. She recently represented  the largest biodiesel producer in Texas, and the National Biodiesel Board, on legislative and regulatory issues as well as overseeing biodiesel fuel testing and NOx modeling studies.

Herbert’s background in education is valuable to many of our clients as we lead statewide and national initiatives promoting energy efficiency, renewable energy, and environmental issues. She has been instrumental in designing new programs, communicating new ideas and encouraging market transformation. She serves on the City of Austin Resource Management Commission, which advises the City Council in energy and water conservation, alternative energy technologies, and renewable energy sources.

Prior to joining Good Company in 2001, Herbert was a visible participant in four biennial sessions of the Montana Legislature.
