Stuart Taylor 

Project Manager 

Stuart Taylor brings to Good Company Associates over twenty years of engineering, manufacturing, utility, energy efficiency and supply chain experience. With this diverse experience, Taylor has an excellent understanding of utility and customer relations concerning efficiency related matters, as well as manufacturing and supply chain related issues. 

Prior to joining Good Company, Taylor held positions of increasing responsibility with General Electric (GE) for ten years.  He most recently served as a district manager for GE’s industrial supply division.  Taylor managed the sales and distribution of GE’s full line of electrical distribution, factory automation and energy efficient products to utility, industrial, OEM and commercial customers throughout Central Texas, with customers including Austin Energy, Lower Colorado River Authority, Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Amtech Lighting Services, and Zachry Construction Company.   

Before relocating to Texas from New Orleans, Taylor had direct sales responsibility for GE’s industrial products and services to a $6 million strategic industrial account package including Shell, Texaco, Occidental Chemical, DuPont, Entergy and GE Marine Systems. 

Prior to working for GE, Taylor started his energy career with Entergy Louisiana (formerly Louisiana Power & Light Company) as a marketing engineer and project manager.  He quickly progressed through the ranks gaining experience conducting energy audits, developing proposals and facilitating the installation of energy efficiency projects.  He also gained valuable experience by developing industry and trade association relationships to promote new technology acceptance.  Taylor ultimately joined Entergy’s corporate marketing team in support of Entergy’s three operating regions.  In this capacity, he was responsible for developing and implementing programs such as Entergy’s leased lighting program and Demand Side Management (DSM) programs.  

Taylor is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University’s school of engineering with a BS in mechanical engineering where he focused on the study of thermodynamics and energy management.  He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.  He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a member of the Association of Energy Service Professionals and former board member of the Association of Energy Engineers.
